Mara-Jade Stone

Long, long ago in a faraway land, Mara-Jade Stone was called Mara J. Carpenter.  She embarked on a quest to college and fought her way through, gaining the spoils of battle (B.A in Writing Lakeland College ((now University)) in 2006).  Unfortunately, her quest through life did not leave her unscathed.  She developed the Bipolar Sickness, Anxiety, and faced even darker things ahead.

Mara-Jade and her then husband (annulled) were on that quest together in college.  Both were baptized by the Catholic Church as infants, but unfortunately fell into evil hands.  Through spells and seduction, the pair were made to join forces with wizards and witches in their company.  They studied the old evil secrets and magic of the land for many years.

Although Mara-Jade felt free, she was held by these enchantments for a long time.  She was sad with a longing for something which she could not place, and it was partially this longing that would save her.  Though Mara-Jade was in captivity, it did not stop her mother and sisters from fighting for her freedom.

The House of Pfister (maiden name) was planning a stealthy attack.  Mara-Jade's mother and sisters fought most bravely, praying the war beads for years.  Their ardent plea was not in vain.  The Most Blessed Virgin was listening.  She called upon her Son, Christ the true King of the Universe, to work a miracle in Mara-Jade's heart.

Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, the spells were broken.  Mara-Jade was able to journey back to the Church and unite with family and friends.  It took Mara-Jade's then husband many more years to achieve freedom from those dark influences.  He did eventually fight his way through the darkness.

Eventually, Mara-Jade's former husband was filled with the light and peace of Our Savior and King, Jesus Christ.  He received the sacrament of Confirmation and united forces with the Church.  Although now free, the former marriage was not meant to be a sacrament for them.  They both live in very different lands, but they have remained good parental allies with their daughter.

Mara-Jade returned to the family estate and resided with her daughter in the tower for decades.  By chance she happened upon a jester whom she gave a token.  The jester made many laugh, but he was no fool.  He won the heart of his lady, Mara-Jade, with his humor and sincerity.  Today they live happily in their own thatched cottage with their three combined children.  The pair look forward to many laughs and interesting quests ahead.
